Someone once told me that I am like a chameleon and can fit in anywhere. I'm pretty sure that it was not meant to be a compliment, but I chose to take it as one. I make every effort to fit into the scenario of the shoot so that the end result is a beautiful, natural portrait that captures the essence of the subject in a living moment.
Although the jemmTale Studio is available for single and small group portraits, I am happy to come to you in your home where you are the most comfortable. You may also want to go to a more scenic outdoor location. I have a few favourites of my own should you have trouble choosing.
The day of the shoot ... keep it simple!
- If you are being photographed in a group, make sure that you all coordinate. You don't have to be matchy, matchy ... but try to pick a theme of colours that work together. Colours and patterns can be amazing in photographs. Layers tend to work well, also.
- Be careful not to overpower new babies with loud patterns and details - the suit they were born in is often a good choice.
- Feel free to include your child's favourite whatever. A stuffed toy, a Linus blanket, a pet, and we can even make room for 'Maggie' - imaginary friends are always very photogenic.
- Finally, be as relaxed as possible. Life is chaotic ... pictures are better when you don't feel that way.
If you have any questions or concerns about the day of the shoot, Get in touch ... and we can work out the details together.
